Graphite/Polyimide Ferrules
Graphite ferrules have been proven effective in over 25 years of service in applications such as glass, ceramic reactor, catalyst tubes, pump seals, etc.
We can provide you with any size you need to fit all applications:- Can be used up to 450C or higher in capture fittings or inert atmosphere
- Soft and malleable – fills imperfections in tubing and distorted fittings
- Ideal in conjuction with glass fused silica to avoid crushing or over tightening
- Does not stick or bind to tubing
- Products fit with all types of GCs
- Sizes from 1/8" – 2"
Graphite /Polyimide ferrules are also available. These are precision molded to give a perfect fit in all Swagelok and Parker fittings.
They offer an excellent balance between softness, binding and crack resistance.
They are preferred over graphite ferrules for vacuum operation or use in GC/MS for reduced air diffusion. Temperature use is usually limited to about 320C.
Custom drilled sizes are available as small as 0.2mm I.D.
